League! Schedule Released

The 2021 League! schedule has been released, with an extra bonus week.

Since the NFL has lengthened the season to 18 weeks, the fantasy regular season will now be 14 weeks long. That means that each team will still play each other at least once but a new “Commish’s Pick” week has been added as the week 13 matchups. Week 12 will remain Rivalry Week and Weeks 1 & 14 will remain the previous year’s matchups based on standings.

Week 1 and Week 14 matchups should be no mystery to managers that have paid any attention at all over the years to the Commish’s typical schedule making tactics. Week 1 is determined by the previous year’s final standings and always features a rematch of last year’s Championship. This year that rematch will be last year’s Champion Billy vs Runner Up Tony, who was upset on Monday Night Football by Stefon MF Diggs.

The rest of the previous year’s final standings are also transferred over to week 1 of the following season to make up the remainder of the opening week schedule. Rounding out 2021’s opening and closing week matchups will be:

The other guarantee in the schedule ever year are the week 12 matchups, also know as Rivalry Week. Teams that face each other in week 12 also square off again at some point throughout the season. With Reichert back from Relegation, he will pick right back up where he left off against B Scott. Smitty and Sweets will be playing each other in weeks 1 and 14 since they finished in 5th and 6th, so they will meet new fill in rivals week 12.
