Relegation Bowl

This year’s Relegation Bowl pegs a seasoned vet against a newcomer.

This year marks the 9th season with a Relegation Bowl as part of The League! and how I am not writing about Cox right now is still confusing, but here we are. Tony vs Herriott.

Tony has become somewhat of a superfan of the Relegation Playoffs. After getting Stefon Diggs’d out of a bobblehead last year, Tony is right back where he left off. This year marks Tony’s 5th Relegation Playoff and 2nd Relegation Bowl appearance. He lost his previous one in 2015.

Herriott, on the other hand, seems lost. After taking a wrong turn on draft day and winding up with a D- draft grade, he is playing in his first Relegation Playoff and now first Relegation Bowl.

Both of them had high hopes for 2022. Herriott was planning on going in with two 1st round picks. Tony, with two 2nd round picks. Now, they are facing off to see which one will be spending 2022 as a spectator.

If the past is any indicator, Herriott might be in trouble.

In it’s storied history, Relegation has never come for anyone twice. Herriott, B Scott, and Smitty have been able to dodge it up until this point. If Herriott loses, he will continue a 9 year trend of no one ever being relegated twice. If Tony loses, he will be the first manager ever to lose two Relegation Bowls.

Two men enter. One man leaves.

Godspeed gentlemen.
