Reichert Changes History with New High Score
Reichert’s week 5 performance was one for the ages that may never be seen again.
Reichert made history late into the night of October 11th, 2021 as he put up 235.18 points and broke the record for the most points ever scored in a single game.
The record was previously set by Carmen with 229.64 points in week 8 of 2007. Several teams had come close to breaking the record prior but none were able to pull it off. Until now…14 years later.
Breaking the record was no easy task. It took Reichert every ounce of football to get there. A Lamar Jackson touchdown pass on the last play of overtime of Monday Night Football was the play that ultimately sealed the deal.
When asked about breaking the record, Reichert stated that it will go down as one of greatest accomplishments of his life.
